As part of our What is renovation all about section, today we present stories of Volvo B18 engine restoration. The engine powered the iconic P1800 model of the famous Saint’s car, from the well known series of the 1960’s about the adventures of Simon Templar. We will tell about the car itself in other entries, today let us focus on the engine.
The engine comes from a car from the first series of six thousand units, yet produced at Jensen’s factory in England.
In our photo report, we present the history of a general engine overhaul, ranging from block grinding to the final assembly in the car. This is a real treat for all automobile lovers of not only the classics.
